Profile : Mary Ann Neuman, photographer

"Behind the camera I am at peace with the world - internally and externally." From tranquil landscapes to emotional portraits,
Mary Ann has a way of making a point; but she does it with what is still a beautiful photograph. "I often catch our world and the people in it in turmoil, struggling to adjust to the circumstances of their everyday existence", and yet it is with a sense of grace and dignity.
Additionally, "as an out-growth of my travel, and because of my formal education as a sociologist, I have created an on-going body of work entitled Somebody's Sister... These photos offer testimony to the plight of women world over".
Mary Ann offers her images as prints and as notecards as well.
