Limelight : Adrian Sicam, keyboard/vocal
The singer, songwriter, keyboardist and teacher, Adrian Sicam is a resident of Colonial Terraces. Born into a musical family, Adrian was raised in Syracuse and attended the University where he received his BFA in music & acting. While at SU, Adrian was a member of the vocal jazz ensemble Windjammer. Upon graduation, Adrian recorded and released his first independent CD of original songs and arrangements entitled Inspired. Larry Hoyt of The Syracuse New Times called the disc "an impressive debut from this multi-talented singer-songwriter".
Over the last several years, Adrian has been working New England’s private party circuit, singing everything from Sinatra to James Brown to Justin Timberlake at dozens of corporate functions, weddings and bar mitzvahs. After releasing his second independent solo CD Hey, Stranger in 2001, Adrian moved to New York City where he taught songwriting, voice and piano and was active as a songwriter and vocalist on several recording sessions. In the spring of 2005, Adrian and his family moved to Newburgh. He continues to teach and perform throughout New England and New York.
