"A Day In The Terraces"
August 05, 2006
  Spotlight: Greater Newburgh Symphony Orchestra

What a musical treasure we have right in our neighborhood! Using the stage at Newburgh Free Academy, the GNSO prides itself in bringing classical music to our community. Their mission statement says, in part, "The purpose of the orchestra is to provide opportunities for young and old to experience live orchestral music at a moderate price." The GNSO is set to begin their 12th season, with the opening performance on Sept. 30th.

At their information table, you will have a chance to get the new performance schedule, buy tickets or season passes, and ask questions. You will also hear the newly released recording of them playing, which is available on CD for purchase.
