Spotlight : Arts & Culture Commission
The recently formed Arts and Culture Commission for the City of Newburgh "was established to advise the City Government on issues related to the development of art and culture in Newburgh". This outstanding new program will give consideration to the role that the Arts play in areas such as tourism, economic development, quality of life and education. The web site www.newburgharts.com is supported by the Commission.
On the 16th, various committees of the A&CC will represented including the Artist Support & Advocacy Committee, which will be there asking artists to take part in a survey that will help the Commission identify and address your needs.
